Home Depot donates new flooring to Little Britain classroom

The sounds of hammers and saws filled the air at Little Britain as Home Depot employees installed a new, scratch- and water-resistant floor in room 14 of the school last week. Their team worked diligently throughout the day to ensure the project was completed with care and precision.

“The new floor from Home Depot will significantly enhance our classroom environment, providing a more inviting space for students to learn and collaborate,” said Principal Dr. Christopher Barrie. “We are incredibly grateful for Home Depot's generous donation of time and resources, which reflects their commitment to community engagement and education. Thank you, Home Depot, for making such a positive impact on our classroom!”

This upgrade will help foster a more focused and productive atmosphere, ultimately benefiting students’ learning experiences. The improved flooring not only adds aesthetic value but also supports better acoustics, reducing noise distractions during lessons.

“Giving back to our communities is ingrained into the fabric of the Home Depot,” said Steve Cecchini, Assistant Manager at Home Depot.

Little Britain and Home Depot hope to continue partnering in the future to benefit students’ education.
