Little Britain Elementary School celebrates Red Ribbon Week

The Just Say No Club, at Little Britain Elementary School worked hard preparing for Red Ribbon Week.

Students in the club read special morning announcements, read the “Red Ribbon Week” pledge to all classes, sorted and organized ribbons, pencils, and bookmarks for the entire school, made posters with drug free messages, and collected canned goods for the local food pantry as a reminder that “We CAN say NO to drugs.”

The Red Ribbon campaign supports a healthy, drug free lifestyle amongst children.

Each day had a different theme throughout the week. Monday was wear your clothing backwards day, Tuesday was wear your PJs day, Wednesday was to bring in a can of food for the food bank, Thursday was to bring in a stuffed animal and Friday was to wear Halloween colors.
