Little Britain recieves a visit from the Orange County Alcohol and Drug Awareness Council
MaryAlice Kovatch, Prevention Director from the Orange County Alcohol and Drug Awareness Council, came to talk to students at Little Britain Elementary School about peer pressure and how to identify substances that are not good for them.
First and second graders had an informative session where they learned about healthy habits, medication safety, and how to identify products that may look like everyday items, like candy, that may contain harmful substances.
During the assembly for the fifth graders, Ms. Kovatch talked to the students about peer pressure, strategies for saying no and not giving in to peer pressure, and how to be a positive influence.
